I am delighted to have been awarded a visiting fellowship in the SCIENCE Faculty at the University of Copenhagen, jointly hosted by DIKU (the Department of Computer Science) and SNM (the Natural History Museum Denmark) during March 2026.
The scheme supports talented visiting scholars at SCIENCE for the establishment of new and lasting research collaborations. Each proposed visiting scholarship must be supported by two departments within the Faculty of Science. I am endorsed by the Department of Computer Science (DIKU) and the Natural History Museum Denmark (SNM). I will work closely with Professor Pernille Bjørn (DIKU) and Professor Anders P. Tøttrup (SNM) to scope joint research collaborations in the areas of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work and Human-Computer Interaction applied to Cultural Heritage engagement. As part of the visit, I will deliver a public talk, a seminar with DIKU PhD students, and a workshop on co-design and co-creation approaches with the SNM team. The overall goal is to develop a strong international connection between DIKU/SNM and University College Cork and Lero – The Research Ireland Centre for Software.
